Left back Stefan Hajdin joined Crvena zvezda from Spartak after impressing in the first half of the season. The 24-year-old defender spent five years at our academy, but had to prove himself elsewhere before arriving to Rajko Mitić Stadium as a senior.
Stefan was delighted after signing a contract that will run until June 2021.
“It was always my dream to play for this club. I cherish the years I spent here as a boy and I’m so happy to return. My parents brought me here in 2003 and wanted me to have a trial at Crvena zvezda and Crvena zvezda alone. Now I’m here, ready to fight for my spot in the first team.”
“I’ve had a wonderful spell at Spartak and I’d like to thank everyone at the Subotica club for some great times. We worked well over there.”
Hajdin is ready for some serious competition for a spot in Crvena zvezda starting eleven.
“I’m raring to go. I’m prepared to put in hard work to meet the expectations of the coaching staff and everyone at the club. I’m aware of the competition I’m facing. Dušan Anđelković is a highly experienced player and Milan Rodić has been performing well since signing last summer. I will have to be at my very best to get in the team and I’m happy to give it a go.”
