Serbian coach and former Crvena zvezda defender Vladan Milojević has been appointed Crvena zvezda Head Coach. He was unveiled on Monday, 5 June 2017 at Rajko Mitić Stadium.
Milojević started his career as a youth player at Crvena zvezda and has gone on to feature for the first team. He's had a successful three-year stint managing Čukarički, where he'd won the Serbian Cup before moving to Cyprus and Greece to take over at AC Omonia and Panionios F.C. respectively.
An important part of Milojević's development as a coach was at Zvezda's Academy, where he's won the title with the red-and-whites.
Milojević was delighted to be back at "his" club.
"I've had a game just a few days ago and I arrived to Belgrade with no rest. It was a frantic period, but you don't think about fatigue when Crvena zvezda come calling. This is the club you want to do well at, here is where you want to be remembered."

"I'm not the kind of man to make too many promises. I can't afford to. But I believe in discipline and hard work. I love spending time on the training pitch and working with players. Football is my life."
"I'm well aware of the fact that time is the resource you don't get, especially at a club as big as this. Expectations are always high here and I'm ready to meet them despite all problems."
Along with Milojević, the club has appointed our former striker Mitar Mrkela as Director of Football. Mrkela, who return to Rajko Mitić Stadium after a seven-year stint working for the Serbian Football Association as Director of Youth Teams. He and the new Head Coach agree that producing young players and giving them chances to shine is the way for the club to progress.
Good luck to Vladan and Mitar on their return to Crvena zvezda!
