Just a few days after overcoming Radnik in the Superliga, the red and whites faced the same opponents in the Kup Srbije semi-final and faced stiff resistence indeed.
Milunović scored an early header to give his team the lead, and Diego Falcinelli used Ben's cross to beat Ranđelović and double the lead.
It all looked like it's going to be an easy passage into the final for the red and whites at that point, but the visitors from Surdulica, managed by former Zvezda defender and youth coach Slavoljub Đorđević, rallied and came close to staging an upset.
Makarić did great to find space and beat Borjan just six minutes after the break, giving his team enough time to try and spoil the red and whites' ambitions of securing a double.
The visitors hit the woodwork twice late on but we survived to make it to the the big final - and it's going to be a big one.
We will face Partizan in the final on 25 May. Save the date!
