Crvena zvezda had to come from behind for the second time this week. After Monday's match at Voždovac, Mladost were also the team who opened the scoring against the champions. The Lučani side captain Saša Jovanović chipped Milan Borjan after a simple counter-attack with red and white defenders unable to catch the runaway goalscorer. It was a nice goal but Dejan Stanković's men were in front just six minutes later.
Milunović headed in from a corner and Kanga scored from close range a mere minute later and the scoreline read 2-1.
Milan Pavkov got his goal just before the break to effectively end the contest against an inspired Mladost.
Aleksandar Katai produced another moment of magic when he bamboozled Mladost defence and pinged the ball over for Veljko Nikolić to finish and make it 4-1.
The match slowed down considerably after the fourth goal as many substitutions largely broke the flow of the match. There was still a bih chance for sub Aleksa Vukanović but he fired just wide and the score remained 4-1.
