The awful pitch at Kralj Petar I caused both teams problems all afternoon, but it was the home team who struck first as Radunović fired an unstoppable shot from the edge od the box that flew into the top corner, leaving Popović helpless.
Srđan Spiridonović was our most dangerous player today as he threatened Rad down the right. On 17 minutes his attempted pass to Pavkov was blocked right back to him and he made the most of it by letting fly from just inside the box and made it 1-1.
Trio of red and white youngsters combined well on the hour to give Zvezda the lead. Nikolić played it out wide for Radulović who drilled a low cross into the box for Krstović to sweep home and score the goal that would prove decisive in this Kup Srbije encounter.
